Optimization and analysis of business processes
Information systems are perceived today as a mandatory component of procedural matters. These systems work in the background, essentially automatically.
All steps in the optimization of processes are conducted by specially trained Minerva consultants. Their professional level is guaranteed by the experience from over one hundred implemented projects in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. This level of expertise ensures the skilled management and effective work of project realization teams, leading to the maximization of the potential of each customer.
The experience of consultants-specialists during the implementation of highly functional integrated systems and the connected optimization of business processes can be a crucial factor of success.
The initial steps of procedural optimization are performed during an analysis of the company’s existing condition. The analysis contains a description of existing process and the designation of the responsibilities of the process owners, including data and organizational structures (and material and data flows). We place the greatest emphasis on identifying critical factors in contemporary procedural models and on the definition of detailed requirements specific for the given branch of industry.
In this way, along with key company employees, we find opportunities to improve the procedural model in the broadest sense of the word. This means defining variants of target processes and the selection of the most appropriate variant corresponding to the strategy of the company. The actual output is a proposal of organizational measures, personnel measures, and a definition of responsibilities and authority. This is all subordinate to a single goal – improving the performance and quality of company processes.
Procedural analyses and optimization conducted in this manner are directly connected with the implementation of the QAD Enterprise Applications system. Our goal is the definition of a procedural model that will be part of everyday practices. We aim to produce, without significant stress on the company’s key employees, a procedural model that can be used immediately and which will have an unequivocal effect on increasing the efficiency and flexibility of specific company processes.
